Under two thousand rupees the beard trimmer market is crowded enough that the specification most brands shout about — the number of length settings — is the one that matters least. Forty settings sounds impressive and almost nobody uses more than three of them.
What actually decides whether you keep using a trimmer: how long it runs per charge, whether the blades stay sharp past six months, whether you can rinse it under a tap, and how it charges. A trimmer with a Type-C port is one less cable in the drawer; one with a proprietary barrel connector is a trimmer you will eventually throw away because the charger vanished.

What matters, in order
Charging port. Type-C or nothing, if you can help it.
Runtime. Sixty minutes is roughly eight to twelve trims. Anything above ninety means you charge it monthly and forget about it.
Washability. An IPX rating means you can rinse the head under a tap. Without one you are brushing hair out of the blades forever.
Length settings. Ignore the headline number. Check the smallest step instead — 0.5mm increments matter, forty positions do not.
